A canopy marks the entrance and keeps the rain off the guests. A pergola makes a garden or a walkway usable in the heat. A skylight brings daylight deep into a building. We design and make all three in aluminium and glass. We did the ACP canopies, the glass canopies and the pergolas at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the skylights at the Emirates Call Center, and the pergolas and canopies at the Dubai Hills Estate Offices.

ACP cladded canopies
A steel or aluminium frame with aluminium composite panels on all sides. A clean box with hidden drainage and lights. The usual entrance canopy of hotels and offices.
Glazed entrance canopies
Laminated glass on stainless steel or aluminium supports. Light comes through, and the entrance stays dry. The glass can be clear, frosted or printed.
Cantilevered and louvered canopies
Canopies with no front columns, held from the wall. Louvered canopies with fixed or movable blades, for shade with air flow.
Aluminium pergolas and shaded walkways
Pergolas for gardens, pool decks and roof terraces. Shaded walkways between buildings and car parks. Aluminium needs no paint and no repair, unlike wood.
Skylights
Straight or curved skylights over atriums, lobbies and corridors. Double or triple glazed units with laminated glass on the inner layer, so nothing can fall. Opening vents for smoke on request.

Does a skylight make the room hot?
Not with the right glass. We use glass with a low-e coating and a solar control layer. Daylight comes in, most of the heat stays out.
Can a pergola have a roof that opens?
Yes. We make pergolas with movable louver blades. Open them for the sky, close them for shade or rain.
How do you drain a canopy?
With a slope that you cannot see and a hidden gutter inside the canopy. The water goes down inside a column or inside the wall.
